Aspen - AT RISK FOR EUTHANASIA
ASPEN ASPEN IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION OR RESCUE
EUTHANASIA DATE: COULD HAPPEN ANY DAY
CONTACT:
Beaumont Animal Care
1884 Pine St
Beaumont, TX 77703
animal.care@BeaumontTexas.gov
DESKLINE: 409-838-3304
PERSONALITY TRAITS:
Aspen is an affectionate, active, energetic and independent girl. She is dog friendly with proper introductions – as should be the case with any dog. Older – 16+ years old – kiddos are advised due to her energetic play style. Aspen enjoys small off leash doggy playgroups, preferring male dogs. She is house & crate trained. Aspen would benefit from a round of positive reinforcement training classes to brush up on her basic commands and leash manners. Shelter staff feel she would thrive as an only pet – she could live with another male dog of similar size and rough play style. She has a strong prey drive – so cats and small animals are a NO.
What shelter staff & volunteers had to say:
Meet Aspen, a super sweet pup who is as smart as she is responsive to her people! This affectionate girl has a bit of a prey drive, so she's not suitable for homes with kitties or small animals that move quickly. However, she has had positive interactions with a dogs and we will thrive in a home environment. Aspen is crate trained and is a small to medium-sized dog with muscles for days! She may have a bit of a herding instinct, likely hinting at her possible Cattle Dog/Pitbull mix heritage. We believe she'll really blossom in a calm and loving home. With one-on-one attention and regular exercise, she settles in beautifully. This sweet girl will be incredibly grateful to find her forever home. If you're looking for a loyal companion who's ready to bring love and joy into your life, Aspen is the perfect match for you!
Please contact Beaumont Animal Care (above) and arrange a meet n' greet! If you have another dog, please bring them with you for a proper introduction. She is at risk of euthanasia – it could happen at any time. Please call...save a life!
BREED: Bully breed blend
AGE: 5 years
WEIGHT: 48 lbs
COAT LENGTH: Short
HEALTH: All rescue dogs are vaccinated, altered, and micro-chipped.
GOOD WITH: Other dogs – respectful older (16+) children – no cats or other small animals

Baby
BABY IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION OR RESCUE
CONTACT:
Española Humane
108 Hamm Parkway
Española, NM, 87532
sara@espanolahumane.org
DESKLINE: (505) 753-8662
PERSONALITY TRAITS:
Adjectives used to describe Baby's persona: goofy, friendly, jovial, affectionate, funny, cuddly....you get the picture....a wonderfully sweet boy that is looking for his forever family. He's been great with everyone he's met and shelter staff feel he would be fine with older (8+) kids that will respect his space and autonomy. He may accidentally knock a toddler over...
Baby is dog friendly & enjoys off leash doggy playgroups. He is quick to read other dogs’ signals and doesn't push it if they don't want to engage. Shelter staff & volunteers feel he would be best with larger dogs (not toy breeds) due to his prey drive. He is far too interested in cats...so no cats or other small animals for Baby. He would love a canine sibling! Baby knows basic commands and is house/leash trained.
What shelter staff & volunteers had to say:
Baby is, well, a giant baby! This big boy is 80 pounds of goofy love. Great on leash and happy to play with stuffies in the yard, he loves a good cuddle session and, despite his size, tends to think of himself as a lapdog. Happy and easygoing, Baby loves people and other dogs (he may love cats a bit too much and should go to a home that's feline free). All this boy wants is a forever family that will shower him with pets, snuggles, a soft bed, and some stuffed toys he can throw around.
Interested in meeting Baby? Please contact Española Humane (above) to arrange a meet n' greet. If you already have a pooch, please bring them with you for a proper introduction.
BREED: Bully breed blend
AGE: 2 years
WEIGHT: 80 lbs
COAT LENGTH: Short

Bagel - AT RISK FOR EUTHANASIA
BAGEL IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION OR RESCUE
EUTHANASIA DATE: PAST DUE – URGENT
CONTACT:
West Valley Animal Shelter
20655 Plummer St.
Chatsworth, CA 91311
Monica Monsivais, monica@barkitecturela.org
Deskline: (888) 452-7381
PERSONALITY TRAITS:
Bagel is a friendly, high-energy boy that loves to play ball! He is dog friendly but can get over stimulated with his rough-house style of play, consequently supervised doggy play dates are advised. Because of this, shelter staff feel he would be best as an only dog in the home even though he has lived with other dogs before. Bagel is good in off leash doggy playgroups (supervised), knows basic commands and is leash trained. He has not had the best life so far and needs a second chance.
What Shelter Staff & Volunteers say about Bagel:
This is spunky and adorable 3-yo Bagel #A2148655! He has been at the shelter since OCTOBER 2024 because he was evidence in a PDA case (we believe it was an incident at a homeless encampment). There was a “trial” and they ruled in sweet Bagel’s favor. Unfortunately now he has to be adopted or rescued outside of the city of LA. He has done so very well in the shelter. He is friendly, social and playful. He is great in playgroups with other dogs and not reactive to dogs while on leash. We can’t say enough glowing things about this stunning boy. Let’s find him a loving family so he can get on with the next chapter of his precious life. West Valley Animal Services 20655 Plummer Street Chatsworth, CA 91311 Open to the public: Tuesday-Friday 8a-5p Saturday-Sunday, 11a-5p Closed Mondays.
If you think you would be interested in meeting Bagel please contact the West Valley Animal Shelter for more information and to arrange a meet n' greet. Please hurry... he is running out of time. He's down to 48 hours...

Bruno
BRUNO IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION OR RESCUE!
CONTACT: Devine Animal Control
305 Watson Ave
Devine, Texas 78016
Alexa Garza, devineanimalcontrol1@yahoo.com
DESKLINE: (830)-355-8007
PERSONALITY TRAITS:
Bruno is a very sweet boy that loves his humans – and loves attention! He is good with other dogs and doesn't seem very interested in the cats at the shelter. He was, however, brought to the shelter for killing
a neighbor's cats. Shelter staff feel he was following his partner in crime and as mentioned, not very interested in the cats at the shelter. That being said, a kitty-free home would be necessary – no sense in
setting him up for failure...
Bruno doesn't appear to have had any formal training and would definitely benefit from a round of positive reinforcement training classes. He's smart and treat motivated and would learn his basic
commands in a jiffy!
If you are interested in meeting Bruno, please contact Devine Animal Control (above) for more

Bugsy and his siblings were a little shy at first but over time has turned into a great young pup with a slightly rebellious spirit that includes an eagerness for exploration and endless adventures. While in foster care, Bugsy has done great with the resident family's two larger dogs and even their older children. Bugsy is still a little slow-to-warm-up kind of dog but once he warms up and gets
comfortable, he is nothing but an affectionate cuddle bug who doesn't mind playing with his friends.
Bugsy is a star athlete and his long legs will take him anywhere you are looking to travel next. He
would be great for any adventures outdoors and absolutely loves the beach. Bugsy also loves to show off his quick wit and intelligence and is currently working on improving his forever dog skills and
commands in his foster. He can't wait to show off his new skills along with his adventurous spirit to his forever family.

comfortable, he is nothing but an affectionate cuddle bug who doesn't mind playing with his friends.
Please contact the Galveston Island Humane Society and ask them about Bugsy and how to make him a
part of your family today!
