Audi-
AT RISK FOR EUTHANASIA
AUDI IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!
EUTHANASIA DATE: FEBRUARY 28
CONTACT: Angels of Mercy P.D.
205 short street
Homestead, PA 15212
jamie.speelman@yahoo.com
DESKLINE: 724-562-7042
PERSONALITY TRAITS:
Why is it the dog is always the one to suffer ignorant, mean, callous, people? Audi was taken from a dog fighting situation. She cannot be around other dogs, cats or other small animals. If there truly is an
angel out there that would adopt her, she would be best kept on leash. She would benefit from positive muzzle training, once acclimated using it when out and about as part of her fun outing gear routine!
Please keep in mind, it's not her fault. She was a product of a horrid environment and not properly socialized. But that doesn't mean she can't thrive - given time to decompress - in a kind, loving home. She is an indoor dog that was forced to live outside, in Pennsylvania, where it can get pretty cold!
Audi truly needs a special person/family that is familiar with the breed, is willing to work with a
positive reinforcement trainer, and most importantly smother her with love and kindness and let her be part of the family. She hasn't had much experience with that. If you are that person/family, please step up....she only has until February 28.
BREED: Bully breed blend
AGE: 7 years
COAT LENGTH: Short
HEALTH: All rescue dogs are vaccinated, altered, and micro-chipped

DESKLINE: 209-751-7428
PERSONALITY TRAITS:
Bagel is a young pup that has been at our shelter for WAAAAYYY too long. He is active, playful and fun and would love to be your next adventure partner/best friend extraordinaire!!!! Bagel has that life of the party personality and he would be thrilled if someone could bust him out of here so he can get to living his best puppy dog life! The shelter kennels are no fun!!! Bagel is super people oriented and it is starting to break his beautiful spirit being stuck in a kennel by himself for most of the day. He is social and would love to be hanging out with his besties; whether that be another playful pup or those super cool things called humans. Bagel is affectionate and eager to please.
He walks pretty good on leash and his favorite place to be is walking right between his handlers' feet. Kind of weird at first but once you know what's going on it is actually super cute and silly! This guy is a CHARACTER and we bsolutely love this boy! We are hoping someone gives him a chance very soon to be a part of a family. He would be so very thankful and would surely pay you back in tail wags and puppy dog kisses not to mention a loving, loyal partner the rest of his life!
Please contact the shelter above if you are interested in meeting Bagel. Already have a canine companion – Bagel would love that. Bring them along for a proper introduction.

Dallas, Tx 75212
Rescue Department, Dasrescue@dallas.gov
DESKLINE: 469-515-1020
PERSONALITY TRAITS:
Bear has the perfect name – he's so cuddly and cute – and looks like a teddy bear! He has good energy and would have no problem keeping up with you on a hike or stroll around the neighborhood. He's active but is ready to snuggle when you are.
Bear is good with other dogs and good in off leash playgroups. He is leash trained but would benefit from positive reinforcement training – which has the added benefit of you bonding with your new furry family member! Bear would be fine in a home with another calm, well mannered dog. Cats and other small animals are an unknown and to the shelter's knowledge he has not been around kids. Older (12+), respectful children would probably be okay.

Bella
Bella is available for adoption!
CONTACT: Best Friends of Baker, Inc.
914 Washington, Avenue
Baker City,, Oregon 97814
DESKLINE: 541-519-4530
PERSONALITY TRAITS:
Bella recently had a litter of pups when she was picked up as a stray and taken to impound. After a reasonable search there no puppies found. She's now at the boarding facility and doing much better after receiving quality food, vet care and vaccinations. She was timid at first but is becoming comfortable with strangers and doing will with caregivers and their grandchildren. She has become quite the tail wagger!
Bella is good with other dogs and older (10+) children. She is a young gal and hasn't had much if any training. A round of positive reinforcement training classes would definitely be beneficial. With proper introduction she would do well with other dogs in her new home. She is being exposed to farm animals inside and outside of her kennel. We are not sure how she would be with other small pets. She is a work in progress.
She is becoming a happy dog and feeling better as her milk dries up. Bella will make a great family pet when she finds the right person/family. Are you the family/person that is willing to give Bella a chance to shine in a kind, loving home?
Already have a canine family member? Bring them with you for a proper meet n' greet!
Please contact the above shelter if you think Bella would be a good fit in your home.

Boomer
BOOMER IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!
CONTACT: Cache Humane Society
2370 W 200 N
Logan UT 84321
dogs@cachehumane.org
DESKLINE: 435-792-3920
PERSONALITY TRAITS
Boomer's motto in life is "don't stop believing." He is an older boy but he's holding onto that feeling that his forever family is out there. At 8 years old he is ready to retire and take it easy. He will hop up next to you on the couch and settle down with his head in your lap. He still has a playful-puppy side that loves stuffies. If you're taking the midnight train going anywhere, Boomer would love to come along!
When Boomer arrived at the shelter he was dog friendly. He had an altercation with another dog after his arrival and is not good with other dogs at this time. We believe this is in large part due to stress and some underlying medical issues. As these are addressed he may do well with laid-back, confident dogs. He is good with respectful children (5+) and is leash trained.
Boomer needs a family that will let him enjoy his senior years in a kind, loving home. Don't let his age fool you – he's got plenty of pep in his step!

DESKLINE: 469-515-1020
PERSONALITY TRAITS:
Branch is an easy going guy that somehow ended up in the shelter. He is good with other dogs, good with respectful children, good in off leash doggy playgroups, knows basic commands and is leash trained. Why is he still here???
As with all dogs, a refresher course with a round of positive reinforcement training would be beneficial and he could possibly learn some new tricks. It's a great way to bond with your new canine house mate! He'd be happy if you already have a well-mannered furry family member....bring them with you when you come to meet Branch!
Branch would make a great hiking buddy as well as a cuddle buddy when you're ready to settle down for an evening of watching tv. He'd love to hang out with you while your enjoying a cup of coffee at your favorite cafe. Are you a single guy/gal? Branch is a guaranteed chick/dude magnet!
Are you the family that is willing to give Branch a chance to shine in a kind, loving home? Already have a canine family member? Bring them with you for a proper meet n' greet! Please contact the above shelter if you think Branch would be a good fit in your home.

Bruno
Bruno is available for adoption or rescue!
CONTACT: SF Animal Care and Control
1419 Bryant Street
San Francisco, CA 94103
Emily - emily.bolduc@sfgov.org
DESKLINE: 628-652-8871
PERSONALITY TRAITS:
Bruno is a goofy, sensitive guy that is toy and food motivated. He would do best (due to his size and “puppy-ness”) with older, dog savvy kids. Bruno is good with other dogs but needs proper introduction and frequent breaks.
Despite his size, he is very puppy-like and would benefit from reward-based training. He has a soft and sensitive side, but is also athletic and absolutely loves playing fetch with a tennis ball. Bruno has met a couple of dogs at the shelter and does well, but seems a bit inexperienced and unsure of how to play.
Because he is so large, it would be best that he is adopted out with an experienced handler who can manage introductions and interactions if there are other dogs in the home.
Bruno ended up at the shelter through no fault of his own....just an unaccepting-of-the-breed landlord.
Please call the San Francisco Animal Shelter to schedule a time to meet Bruno! Already have a canine companion? Bring them along for a proper introduction!

Calvin-
AT RISK FOR EUTHANASIA
CALVIN IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION
EUTHANASIA DATE: FEBRUARY 1
CONTACT: California City Animal Shelter
5000 Lindbergh Blvd
California City, CA 93505
Diane Perry cal.cityanimalshelter@gmail.com
DESKLINE: 760-977-6746
PERSONALITY TRAITS:
Calvin is a very energetic pup that has not had much, if any, training. He would definitely benefit from positive reinforcement training to teach him basic commands. He does pull on leash but that is easily corrected with the proper training. Although he is not aggressive he does like to get into other dogs faces which is a behavior that is also easily corrected with proper training. By the way, going through training classes with your new pooch is a great way to bond with them!
He was non-reactive when walking through the cat kennel....and he has not been tested with children. It is felt he would be fine with older, respectful kiddos.
What we have here is truly a diamond in the ruff! Given a kind, loving home and proper training Calvin would truly sparkle!
Please contact the shelter above if you are interested in adopting Calvin.

Stephenville, TX 76401
DESKLINE: 254-965-3247
PERSONALITY TRAITS:
Desmond came to the shelter as a stray and has been here for several months which is a long time to be primarily in a kennel and it's taking its toll on him. He needs a family to give him time to decompress and love him for the wonderful dog he can be.
He knows basic commands, is house and crate trained. That being said he would benefit from additional fear-free training which is a wonderful bonding experience for you and your new canine companion.
Desmond loves to play fetch, loves car rides and walks wonderfully on leash with younger children and adults. He loves treats and loves to snuggle.
As for kitties – he just doesn't understand them and wants to chase them. With proper instruction and introduction he might be able to live with them. We are not sure how he would be living with another dog.

PERSONALITY TRAITS:
Dorothy has been at the shelter for a while. When she first arrived, it took her sometime to come out of her shell. When she did, she was friendly with staff and volunteers alike. She was adopted but returned as she did not get along with the other dog in the home. Here at the shelter she has gone on pack walks and made friends with other dogs with similar energy as her.
She loves to go on walks and is always excited to get some exercise. She can get very excited when going out of her kennel; she was involved in a minor bite to a volunteer. The volunteer does not feel that it was aggression or intended, Dorothy just couldn't contain her excitement.
She would do best in a home with someone who can teach her some new tricks, have fun training her, and give her all of the love and cuddles she could ask for. Dorothy may do well in a home with another dog but perhaps, based on her recent return to the shelter, she would thrive as an only dog.
Come meet Dorothy and take her home with you! If you already have a canine family member bring them with you to the shelter for a proper meet n' greet! Please consider giving this girl a chance – she's running out of time quickly - and get ready to have some fun! Come meet her TODAY...

Fiona-
AT RISK FOR EUTHANASIA
Meet English Bulldog Fiona; and as the name suggests, she is an ogre princess at heart. She spends most of her days snoring, snorting or snuggling. She likes short to medium walks and one look at a leash will have her bouncing to the nearest door. She loves people and children! She would be best in an only dog home. She has been a joy for our family over the past couple years. She does not get along with her bully breed sister and it has turned into an unsafe environment. She is 6 years old approximately 60 lbs. She has responded extremely well to training and has been working with a Bully Breed specialized trainer who has offered to continue to work with her as needed. She needs to be your one and only pet.

DESKLINE: 469-515-1020
PERSONALITY TRAITS:
Frankie is a shy guy that warms up to you quickly. He's good with other dogs and is leash trained. Being a young fella, a round of positive reinforcement training would be beneficial for him. It's a great way for you to bond with your new family member, as well.
What we have here is a diamond in the ruff. We don't know what his story is but given time to decompress and time to realize he is safe he will be the best boy ever!
